bump update :: 38 weeks

I'm very determined to finish these posts out to the end, even if they end up being a week behind. And hey, hopefully only one more!!

Next appointment, this Friday, we are talking about scheduling an induction date. I'm scared out of my mind to be induced, but it may just have to be time. My doctor says any time between 40 and 41 weeks, and I'm leaning towards waiting until 41, so we will see what is decided. It makes me so happy that either way, we will have our baby in our arms by mid-January!!!

bump update :: 36 weeks

We had to move the picture location. One, because it's CHRISTMAS, and two, because baby things were taking over the dining room. From here on out, you can find me by the tree :)

I'm seeing my OB every week now, which is sort of thrilling. Every time we leave she says, see you next week unless I see you sooner.... !! It may be becoming real. Seriously, any day now!

bump update :: 34 weeks

watch out, 9 month pregnant lady hiking!

I'm 35 weeks today, so this post is a little late, but here she is.

I've hit a wall. It's now hard to walk, stand up, stay on balance, sleep, lay, drive. Don't mind all the complaining. My body just hurts. It's like everything was fine one day, then the next I woke up and the third trimester tiredness and aches just took over. 

Good news, we will hopefully have a little baby boy in our arms around this time next month! whoa.

bump update :: 32 weeks

I feel like everything I wrote up there pretty much sums it up.

We did get to see our baby boy today. He was super squirmy, yawning a ton and practicing swallowing, it was about the most precious things I've ever seen. 

I'm getting prettttty excited to see him in real life, cmon 8 more weeks, fly by please :)

bump update :: 30 weeks

30 weeks, and I'd like to stop growing right about now. I cannot imagine getting any bigger than this. Looking back at 28,  I've made some serious progress in the past two weeks! 

I came home tonight to this little surprise...

and then I cried and cried, like a big ol pregnant lady. 

This is the rocker I've been wanting from Pottery Barn. I knew it was a lot to ask for, and had to talk myself out of it (we even bought a swivel chair from Roundtop to get reupholstered). 

Both of our families had pitched in to purchase it for me. I've been falling for lies the past couple weeks, as Blake and my mom had convinced me to go ahead with the upholstery project. Little did I know, this beautiful piece of heaven was en route to my house. Blake wrapped it in a bow all by himself, the card was signed by everyone, and they all included their favorite lullabies. I'll remember this day, and this chair, and this card forever. 

 It's seriously more than I could have ever asked for. Please excuse the photo, there were a lot of tears and emotions going on before Blake took this super flattering picture. :)

bump update :: 28 weeks

3rd trimester you guys. Ican'tevenBELIEVE it's already here. We have GOT to get a move on the "nursery" things. We have an un-upholstered rocker, and an un-painted dresser/changing table just sitting in the garage.

This weekend was exciting though, I did a little winter wardrobe shopping for me and this bump. No more sweater mid-drifts for this pregnant lady!

bump update :: 24 weeks

I've grown out of my maroon, so maroon-ish cardi and tank is the next best option for game day. 

Looking at this picture totally threw me off. I definitely don't feel as big as I look here. Sometimes I feel like I can still suck in... yeah right!

I actually didn't get to my massage this weekend, but I did try prenatal yoga for the first time, and it was sooo relaxing, and I'm all kinds of sore today. 

I'm 25 weeks tomorrow. They don't lie, time is FLYING.

bump update :: 22 weeks

22 weeks, what can I say...

We registered this weekend, and I must admit, picking out that stroller was sort of thrilling. We even registered for a mini soft cooler that attaches to the back of it. It's the little things.

bump update :: 20 weeks

We are officially halfway there! From here on out it's a countdown which sort of freaks me out. I want more than anything to see this little guy in real life, and to be able to touch him blows my mind right now, but I'm sort of enjoying the pregnancy. The first 20 were kind of fun, in a weird way... hopefully I'll be able to say that about this second half too.

bump update :: 19 weeks

We FaceTimed in (from a restaurant in Atlanta) for a quick second to let them know which dessert they should eat.

Blake and I are pretty darn excited, even though that last week we both thought it was surely a girl. I'm so so excited to start picking names, nursery things, and seeing that adorable little profile again!

bump update :: 16 weeks

Today I bring you the post work out, black on black, mid cleaning house 16 week bump shot. No one can tell me it's in my head anymore. That's a bump friends. I also don't know what's more awkward, having your husband take these pictures, or setting up the timer on a shoe box to take it yourself...

Blake asked me why my hand was there... and actually I have no idea, just felt right, and everyone else does it. I suppose it's to accentuate the bump, can ya see it? I feel like this week (the end of week 15), finally, you can see a little somethin' somethin'
